The Hythe Marina slip is only really useful for boat testing as it's quite a distance from the sea. The area between the slipway and pier needs to be avoided at low tide as it becomes very shallow. The slip however can be used at all states of the tide, but can be quite steep.
Facilities:
Toilets; mens and womens are available adjacent to Hythe Pier. The marina facilities are locked and requires a key code known only to marina berth holders.
There is a bar on the marina, but no "wet" food areas. Hythe itself does however have a number of eateries that are worth a visit.
