The slip can be a bit awkward at low tide, with a step if the trailer goes too far - but it's pretty well protected by Pool harbour. Unfortunately it's popular with Jet skis most of the year.
Facilities:
Toilets; the mens and womens toilets in the park are generally open, but council cuts have threatened their closure. Other public toilets are available in the shopping area a mile to the west.
Food; Baiter park boasts a lovely burger van that also does drinks and ice cream - just beware of the seagulls.
